Sadly you will not like this review. I drove from Haddington on a recommendation. I’m a vegetarian and our local Indian takeaway has little to offer. I know what a good delicious mutter paneer and peshwari nan should taste like . Tuk Tuk in Edinburgh do a fantastic job, that’s what I thought I was buying. The paneer was very bitter the sauce wasn’t at all creamy and the nan was a horrible solid slab like a floor tile which was also bitter and burnt tasting and almost impossible to pull apart. I can’t tell you how totally disappointed I was especially after making the effort to pick it up. What happened? Was it because it was 7.30pm on a Sunday night? You shouldn’t have accepted the order if you were unable to provide decent food.

This is our favourite Indian takeaway by miles. Food is always beautiful, burning hot and delivered quicker than expected by friendly drivers. Never had a bad experience :)

A small blip on the order earlier in the week where the quantity of chicken on 2 kebabs was not the usual reasonable amount for the price, as usual, the team were excellent in dealing with the feedback and tonight showed that we were back to normal! The quantity of meat matched the price and the quality and taste was outstanding as always, thank you team p.s don't ever loose the guy on the front desk (sorry do not know his name) absolute asset, he knows each of the orders immediately and highly efficient

There is not much more I can compliment the team on other than how welcome they make you feel on every visit, the kebab is outstanding as always with fresh salad, good quality non greasy meat and delicious sauces: Well done to the owners you have maintained quality and prices, I seriously have no idea how anyone close to you is making money!
